MS Dhoni The Untold Story movie review: Reliving his Journey.

The day was April 2nd, 2011 and the place was Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The confidence of Indian team was stumbled when god of cricket came back to the pavilion after being caught out. The whole nation was curious whether the history would repeat after 28 years or it would be like 2003. Then came our Protagonist with billion hopes rested on his shoulders and started etching history with his bat. He gave finishing touch in his unique style. If you remember this scene then everything in the movie will be loved by you.
MS Dhoni The Untold Story, lives up to its name. Every untold aspect of Dhoni’s life is covered with precision. How Captain Cool started his journey from Ranchi to the most adored Captain of Indian Cricket team. We are taken right from the beginning when Son of a Pump operator Pan Singh Dhoni decides to make it big in life, after watching his father work on a winter night.
All the Scene shot are so engrossing that sometimes we would forget the difference between reel and real. The Scene shot in the Kharagpur Station is worth mentioning when Dhoni is trying to make his way from the sea of people. His whole journey resembles this scene, a man going against odd and making a mark.

Sushant Singh internalizes the character given to him and becomes the character, with striking resembles Dhoni. His body language, helicopter shot, walking style, everything resembles the India captain. Although the real footage is used sometimes but you won’t notice the difference. The support of supporting cast is also applaudable.
You will enjoy the first half of the film where a common Ranchi boy struggles his way towards Indian cricketing team. The goosebumps moments when DADA mentions of giving the chance to dhoni and the love life of captain cool.
But Second half is overtaken by the Bollywood masala,where Dhoni’s love life took the front seat. Many issues were given a flying glimpse and many were untouched like the controversy of removing fellow cricketers or the criticism he faced and many other issues.
Although to the Dhoni fans, the whole movie would be marvelous but to the slightly less enthusiast would find it difficult to curb his enthusiasm whenever Dhoni hits a six in screen and the last scene would be epic to watch.
As everyone loves to see victory and if this victory is on the cricket field, India would definitely go out and watch it. Film is all set to hit the century in Box-Office.
